While the number of apps available in the Windows Store is growing very slowly, there are some new entries that clearly deserve a look, including the so-called Sea Quest arcade game.

Basically, Sea Quest puts you in control of a submarine that shall be used to rescue scuba divers from the deep sea, as they’re all on a mission to collect gold.

“You have an unlimited supply of torpedoes and limited oxygen that needs to be refilled. Deadly sharks, mines, enemy submarines, enemy mine ships and battle ships are out there to get you and the scuba divers,” the game description reads.

The app comes with in-game power-ups for oxygen, missiles and double barrel gun, but also with online worldwide leaderboards to compete against your friends.

It can be used on both desktops and tablets, as it also features an ARM version completely optimized for the touch.
