Most of today's desktop computer systems are built to provide its users with a large number of connectivity options. But a strong-built motherboard isn't enough to ensure that a user has immediate access to a number of connectivity ports. This is why chassis manufacturers have released control panels that users can install inside their desktop computer cases.
On that note, Scythe has recently announced its new version of the Karma Panel multi-function 5.25-inch bay.

As you might expect, this multi-functional panel has been designed to provide its users with a high number of connectivity options and more. With this panel, users can control their system's internal fans while still having access to a number of connectivity options, including two USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire, audio Line-in, Mic and Audio-Out connectors, as well as SATA connectors. In this 5.25-inch form factor, Scythe also managed to include a card reader that supports SD Card, miniSD Card, SDHC Card, Micro SD Card, MMC Card, RS-MMC Card, Compact Flash, Micro Drive, xD Card and Memory Stick (PRO, DUO, PRO-DUO).

But what is really interesting about this multi-functional panel is that from a total of 6 fan controllers, the user can choose to only use two. There are four lower fan controllers that can be removed and replaced with a slim CD/DVD drive, which makes the Kama Panel 2 really cool to have. Imagine that in a single 5.25-inch bay you will have access to your optical drive, as well as to a card reader and two fan controllers.

Scythe's new product is going to be available in either black or silver and will come with a 39.80 USD MSRP, which is almost €25. Considering all the options you will have at your disposal, this product isn't really that expensive.
