Scythe could have probably included all mounting options in the same box with the new Tatsumi cooler, but it decided to split the mounting systems apart instead.

Not that I can speak all that ill about the decision. It's not like you'll need both, since even dual-socket motherboards need both sockets to be populated by similar chips.

Anyway, Scythe has formally launched the Tatsumi cooler, with a weight of 416 grams (14.67 oz) and size of 102 x 146 x 59 mm / 4.01 x 5.78 x 2.32 inches. And yes, that's including the fan.

The cooler that suits AMD Central Processing Units (CPUs) and accelerated processing units (APUs) is called Scythe Tatsumi Type A.

Conversely, the one compatible with Intel's LGA775, 1150, 1155, 1156, and 1366 socket CPUs is called Tatsumi Type I. Push-Pins mounting clips are used in both cases.

As for the fan, it has a speed of 300 to 2,500 RPM, an airflow of 6.70 to 55.55 CFM, and a noise output of 7.2 to 31.07 dBA (Slip Stream fan of 92 mm). Combined with the Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure (M.A.P.S.) of the heatsink, this dissipates heat quite nicely.

Both versions of the Scythe Tatsumi CPU cooler cost €17 / $22.
