One of them holds 3.5-inch and the other 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs

Portable HDDs and SSDs are pretty common at this point, but for those who have normal ones lying around and want to use them somehow, drive enclosures will do the trick.

Scythe's Kamazo series isn't too special, but that doesn't mean it's not useful. Made of two members, it will let SATA HDDs and SSDs communicate with PCs via USB 3.0.

The KAMAZO-S35-U3-BK measures 112 x 197 x 30 mm (4.40 x 7.75 x 1.18 inches), weighs 268 grams (0.59 pounds) and can hold 3.5-inch storage devices. It needs an AC adapter to get enough energy.

The second enclosure, KAMAZO-S25-U3-BK, is smaller, at 80 x 131 x 18 mm (3.14 x 5.15 x 0.70 inches) and a weight of 126 grams (0.27 pounds). It gets all the power it needs via USB and handles 2.5-inch drives.

As a bonus, the small enclosures are compatible with Toshiba Regza and Sharp Aquos smart TVs.

May 16 is when sales will begin, in Japan anyway, for prices of $31 / 23.98 Euro and $16 / 12.38 Euro, respectively.
