Scythe's newest product can be used in a PC case (takes up two 5.25-inch bays) thanks to the bundled PCI bracket, but it is actually made for standalone operation, and has the AC adapter to prove it.

Called Kama Bay Amp Pro, it is the company's newest flagship amplifier and relies on the MAXIM MAX 98400A IC (integrated circuit).

The output is of 24 watts per channel at 8 Ω (48 W total), and the frequency range is of 20 Hz to 20 KHz, quite wide.

For connectivity, there are RCA plugs on the front (gold-plated), along with 3.5 mm Mini-Plugs. Analog inputs can be found at the back.

Switching between the four separate source channels can be done easily.

Scythe Kama Bay Amp Pro (item no. SDAR-3000) is available as of today for 84,00 Euro / $84-110.
