Script of the Day: pageguide.js

pageguide.js is an innovative jQuery plugin for putting together great presentations, product tours or guided wizards.

While most companies prefer making a video of their product and hosting it locally, on YouTube or Vimeo, there's nothing that says “quality service” than a great step by step presentation, guiding the user through all the things he must do in a timely linear manner.

For every step in the page guide, the webmaster can add a small description which will give further details to the user.

To allow quick navigation, side stepping controls are also available for going back or quickly skipping known steps. A close button can also be shown to skip the tutorial altogether in case the user is familiar with the product or service.
