jQuery Tools is a UI widgets framework for jQuery. It's basically a collection of the most used user interface patterns found in modern day Web design techniques.
Some of the widgets you'll find inside the jQuery Tools package include tabbed panels, accordions, various overlay methods, modal popups, range inputs, content sliders, custom scrollbars, date pickers, tooltips, and many more.
The project is mature enough to be deployed headache-free for any website's interface around the Web. Browser and jQuery support is very extensive, going back even to the Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2.
