Vaadin is an innovative Java framework built on top of the Google Web Toolkit. It can be used in easily deploying HTML and JS UI widgets from Java code or via a friendly drag & drop interface.

The entire framework is packed within a single .jar file, so integration into any project is extremely simple.

Vaadin can be utilized with any Web app or website, can work with any JVM-compatible language (Python, Groovy, Scala, Ruby, Clojure, etc.) and can be deployed to any Web server capable of running a portlet of servlet.

Because it's open source, the Vaadin code has seen lots of improvements over the short time since it has been released and users have submitted a plethora of add-ons to extend its functionality.

The Vaadin UI widgets can be tested via their official online demo.

Download Vaadin from our Scripts section here.
