Script of the Day: UseBB

We all have at least one friend that's against everything mainstream and with a serious case of Government paranoia. This statement is also true for developers. At least one of our programmer friends is against all the mainstream scripts and technologies, always in a constant search for underground alternatives to popular software.

If you are one of those fellows (or not), we present an alternative to mainstream forum solutions, UseBB, a discussion board system written in PHP.

It may be lacking in the marketing department, but not in its feature list. UseBB can easily match up feature-wise with phpBB or Vanilla Forum and hold its own with no problem.

UseBB has all the popular forum management utilities, so we're not gonna list all the features here just to point out the obvious. What we can do is give it a thumbs up and recommend it to you. Just give it a try and if unsatisfied, go back to your old forum with no regrets. Here's a small hosted demo from Opensource CMS to test online.
