Uptime is a toolkit for monitoring servers across the Web. It was created to help webmasters and system administrators in keeping an eye on their servers' activity.

Created with Node.js and MongoDB, Uptime watches for a certain IP address:port combination and logs all detected activity. This includes total uptime, downtimes, ping responses, errors and other problems.

Uptime then uses all this logged data to render out nice activity graphs, easy to understand and analyze by any mere mortal.

Besides basic logging and reporting, if configured so, Uptime can even send out alerts, in case the server it's watching may be of critical importance to any of the administrator's systems.

The Uptime source code has been open sourced and is available on GitHub.
