A framework for building Web applications in Java and Scala Enlarge picture - A framework for building Web applications in Java and Scala
Developing advanced applications is not as easy as it sounds. But it could be, if you'd be using the right tools, and one of the recommended tools to use if you're a Java developer is the Play Framework.

Created to help trim down resource consumption, Play leverages a light and stateless architecture to help develop modern, scalable and reactive Web applications.

Integrated with Akka, Play provides a way to build truly real-time apps that react based on registered events, allowing programs and Web services to always be responsive and properly take care of a user's needs.

The Play's Framework source code is available on GitHub and documentation is provided with the download package and on its website.

Download Play Framework from our Scripts section here.
