Script of the Day: Mosaic Flow

A jQuery plugin for creating responsive image galleries

By on July 12th, 2013 16:01 GMT

For anyone interested in mimicking a Pinterest gallery layout on their own websites, the Mosaic Flow jQuery plugin is just right for the job.

A complete clone of the layout behavior, Mosaic Flow comes with support for Pinterest's responsive layouts, instantly moving images from one row/column to the other, trying to keep a natural resolution as much as possible.

Images are always kept tightly knit into a grid, making sure the user has full access to view or interact with them.

Mosaic Flow can be used on its own as a simple gallery solution, or it can be integrated with more complicated image display solutions, adding the necessary support for showing a responsive image mosaic layout.

Mosaic Flow news and new versions can be tracked via its GitHub and jQuery Plugins repo pages.
