Mercury Editor is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor supporting the new HTML 5 elements.
The steps in using Mercury are quite simple. After initialization, it will show a bar on the top of the page, full of editing and styling options the user can utilize to format a page’s existing content, and also create new ones as well.
The editor practically revolves around HTML5’s new contentEditable attribute that lets users edit a tag’s content in real-time. Extremely configurable and boasting spectacular graphics, Mercury Editor is also released under an open source license for all to use. Mercury Editor’s source code is currently being hosted and developed on GitHub. Download Mercury Editor from our Scripts section here.
