Script of the Day: JAWStats

JAWStats is a traffic analytics PHP script. It does not run on its own and requires an AWStats installation to take data from.

The main role of JAWStats is to re-interpret AWStats recorded data and present it in a nicer, more organized and legible way.

JAWStats is extremely easier to skin than AWStats, i18n friendly and much more smoother to embed into other apps than the older Perl-driven AWStats package.

Is there any advantage of using a second analytics package on top of the old one? Actually, there are plenty, and the main is related to security, JAWStats being much more secure and protected than AWStats.
