Script of the Day: Go-Contact

Go-Contact is a WordPress plugin for creating Web forms and embedding them in pages and posts via a simple, unique, auto-generated shortcode.

Why focus on a contact form plugin when currently the second most popular plugin on the WordPress plugin repository is Contact Form 7, another plugin for creating contact forms?

Well, because Contact Form 7 has been adding features non-stop, and while this might be helpful for some developers building complicated forms with complicated logic, most users just want “a contact form.”

A plugin should not look like the controls of a flying saucer, and that's what Contact Form 7 has gotten to look like, and that's exactly what Go-Contact isn't.

It's a straightforward plugin for building custom forms and deploying them within 2-3 minutes.
