Script of the Day: Flux Slider

Flux Slider is a unique jQuery image slider for featuring photos on a web page. Instead of using bulky JavaScript-based transitions, Flux Slider takes advantage of the new tools found in CSS 3.

Under the hood, it uses CSS transitions for creating 2D and 3D image effects when switching from one photo to another.

At this moment Flux Slider includes 10 2D transitions (Bars, Zip, Blinds, Blocks, Concentric, Warp, Slide, Swipe, Dissolve, Blocks2) and 5 3D transitions (Bars, Cube, Tiles, Blinds, Turn).

The code is very easy to understand and if needed, developers can modify existing effect details or entirely code their own transitions if willing.
