Script of the Day: ChocolateChip

A UI framework for developing mobile applications

By on January 10th, 2013 17:01 GMT

ChocolateChip is a simple JavaScript UI framework for developing HTML5 mobile applications.

Being able to work as a stand-alone library or in conjunction with jQuery or Zepto.js, the framework will abstract all the heavy-duty code necessary to write and produce mobile layouts to simpler methods that can reduce the time and effort needed for mobile development.

ChocoloteChip currently works with Android and iOS 5+ devices and heavily uses HTML5, CSS3 and ECMAScript 5 compatible JavaScript to produce the app layouts and widgets.

Lots of examples are provided with the download package, allowing developers to study the code and then start work on their own apps and other implementations.

If you feel you have anything new to contribute to the framework, development is handled via a GitHub account.
