CeraBox is a modal windowing system, also known as lightbox script for the MooTools JavaScript framework. It is heavily inspired by Janis Skarnelis' FancyBox modal system for jQuery.

Targeting all MooTool versions above version 1.4, CeraBox is a developer's dream, coming with all the support a lightbox script should provide out of the box.

CeraBox can be used to display images, entire photo sets, Flash-based content, Web-based videos, remote content via iframe and even remote content fetched via Ajax calls.

All the regular features like navigation controls, close button and window titles are, of course, included. Newer releases added support for handheld devices (mobile, tablets running Android or iOS) and a graceful method of viewing the content if JavaScript is disabled by any chance.

The project is hosted and managed via a GitHub account.
