Script of the Day: Apostrophe (PHP)

A content management system (CMS) built on top of the Symfony PHP framework

Developed on top of the well-known Symfony PHP framework, Apostrophe is a handy CMS (content management system) to quickly put together solid websites for clients or personal projects.

Built for running medium to large scale products, Apostrophe is not something for your regular, everyday WordPress user. It's very different from what other CMSs look like, but the success it got until now is totally deserved.

Heavily AJAX-ified, Apostrophe is extremely ergonomic. Featuring an inline, on-page editing experience, Apostrophe moves away from the notion of a self-standing admin panel, trying to reduce the time spent on waiting for pages to load, and increase the time spent on adding content itself.

Apostrophe is also available as a hosted service, ideal for developers looking for solid support and a specialized hosting environment. A demo can be tested via their homepage here.
