Screwed Again: Kate Moss Just Doesn't Get Enough

Kate Moss definitely doesn't have the best of luck when it comes to men - and let's face it, if her taste in men were to be portrayed by ONE man in particular...say, former boyfriend and troublemaker-in-chief Pete Doherty, with whom she had an on again/off again relationship and a whole world of drug-related trouble, then all we can say is...arrrgh! Kate, you can do so much better... I mean, I know it's hard to let go of all the fond memories...all those times you did drugs together and got so drunk that you couldn't make it home on your own...but the guy's going down and this time, looks like it's going to be way down.

The latest news is that Doherty has managed to get himself arrested again on suspicion of possession of drugs, and that he's currently held at an East London police station. It's not good news for Doherty, as he already has two driving offenses and has admitted to possession of cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine (which as far as I know is a horse tranquillizer - Amy Winehouse also overdosed on it two weeks ago, remember? What is with you people, I ask?). So things don't look good for the front man of the Babyshambles group.

Now, coming back to Kate - see why it's a bad thing going round with the likes of Doherty? Now, apparently, the model also caught Doherty cheating on her a few weeks ago (like it was the first time) and in a fit of rage had all his clothes and things, including piano, thrown out of her London apartment. But before any of us could applaud and send her the 'way to go, Kate' postcards, Doherty strikes again - he publicly confessed his undying love for Moss in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mirror, which is one of the newspapers she reads every day. And, in a turn of events worthy of Romeo and Juliet, Moss called Doherty, confessed that she still loves him and as proof sang for him (on the phone!) the 1961 "Breakfast at Tiffany's" classic song "Moon River".

Now, if your heart's not bleeding already, wait till you hear this. Apparently, good ol' Kate's undying love is not good enough for Doherty either, since in another twist worthy of the two-faced cheating druggie, he hooked up with his older girlfriend, Romanian-born supermodel Irina Lazareanu, who - it gets better - worked and was a good friend of Kate, who promoted her both on the Vogue issue she guest edited and later in the collection she designed for the popular British chain Topshop.
So now Doherty's in jail and hooked up with a backstabbing Irina, who in the time spent with Kate decided to steal more than tips and trick about her art and moved to strike dead in the center. And now, as the scandal looms again with Doherty's arrest, we've only to sit back and watch...and maybe keep our fingers crossed for poor Kate, and wish her better luck in her personal life - and better luck in choosing her friends too.
