14 DAY TRIAL // It's a known fact that all the performers on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade lip-sync because it would be impossible for them to perform live for technical reasons. However, few have failed at it like Scotty McCreery.
Mishaps have happened before at the popular event, but never quite so awkward.
The newly-minted American Idol has become the laughing stock of most celebrity bloggers after getting a very late start during his performance at the Parade.
Basically what happened was that Scotty took a few seconds to mime singing, even though the track was already playing, as the video below will show.
Again, it's common knowledge that there's only lip-syncing at the Parade – but that's not to say performers are not required to make an honest effort to make it seem real.
