Grab a shotgun, your special agent suit and get ready to go on a killing frenzy

And many more, actually. First of all, a new trailer available for download from the official website. Second, yeah, this game seems to be a really bloody experience coming for the PC owners in the near future (Quarter 2 of 2008, they say). It has a nice story and, for those who are into poetry and other not-really-gaming-related stuff, the blokes from Akella (or the devs - B-Cool Interactive) have come up with a little poem to put you in the mood (for killing, sorry pervs!)

Suffer the agonies and Catch a trouble but still Oppose the rotten government's control, React to what they do to your life now that Peace's been forgotten. Initiate the resistance, Outfox those who are stronger and Nothing can stop you since you're Scorpion, the special agent whose destiny is to fight the evil.

Isn't that sweet? You're a special agent, you get to fight the evil, save the world and so on. You're probably really excited, right? Well, you shouldn't be, since Scorpion's game world is one where there's no place for mercy, compassion or sympathy and where people divided into factions fight against each other. Probably the thing you will really enjoy is that you (the in-game character) will be hired to penetrate a cool corporation that breeds monsters, kills stuff and people who get in their way and, to keep it short: are really evil.

Yeah, you probably have the feeling that you've heard the story at least a couple of times already but, even though you might be right, the complete one is quite elaborated and you might enjoy it. For example: everything started when some alien artifacts were discovered and some strange explosions destroyed the searching team and contaminated the area. To solve the problem, the world's top powers send in a few nuclear missiles. Yep, it's funny - "solve a problem" and "nuclear missiles" in the same phrase!

Story apart, the game will feature some good squad-oriented AI, impressive number of fully upgradeable weapons, stealth action along with the classic "shoot, shoot, reload, shoot again" scheme and, no surprise, a cyber-punk styled Earth of 2028. If everything goes as planned, we should be able to get this one sometime during the second quarter of 2008.
