Eager to enable a higher immersion for gamers, Sceptre has just announced that it has completed the development of a number of 27-inch, 1080p, LCD, wide-screen PC monitors that aim to increase realism while gaming.

The monitors are also Energy Star 5.0 compliant and have, as I/O options, VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. Furthermore, the displays come with 3W per Channel built-in speakers and an audio in.

Already listed by online retailers such as NewEgg and Costco, Sceptre's 27-inch LCDs carry a price tag of $399.
