Another GTA Lawsuit

Looks like the lawsuits against Rockstar's GTA San Andreas are not stopping even after over two years since the game was released. Despite its success, GTA San Andreas is probably one of the most controversial games ever released.

This time it's the turn of a man from Philadelphia, who has filed a federal lawsuit over Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. The story goes like this: two years ago, the man in question, John Robinson, bought a copy of the game and gave it to his son. They were surprised to found out later that the game contained scenes of simulated sex.

When Robinson became aware of the scenes of simulated sex, he took the game away from his son, even though he was about 20 years old, according to Philadelphia Inquirer. Robinson is represented by Mark R. Cuker of the Center City firm Williams Cuker Berezofsky, who declared that his client does not seek damage because of the controversial nature of the game, but wants retribution because he claims that consumers were not offered refunds.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Take-Two Interactive refused to comment on this issue, but changed the game's rating from Mature to Adults Only. Despite its severe rating, GTA San Andreas managed to get into the consoles or PCs or gamers everywhere and obtained great review scores. Even Softpedia awarded it a perfect 10, plus a Softpedia pick.

I'm not saying that the game was perfect, as it lacked in graphics, character models, textures and players experienced some control issues, but it more than made up for this shortcomings in other chapters.
