Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett have been going out together a little over a year and it already seems that their almost perfect relationship is on the verge of ending. The possible reason of the split can be found either in the sex tape scandal she is now involved in or in Josh's long absences from home, depending on which 'source' we choose to believe.

The alleged sex tape that Scarlett unwillingly made when she forgot to take off her microphone before going to have oral sex with an unidentified man in the back of a car may be at the core of the split, inside sources claim. The audio and partially video tape can be found on the Internet, if anyone is curious enough to search for it, and rumor has it that Josh also learned of its existence and decided to leave for New Zealand.

On the other hand, there are others who say that Hartnett is the one who made the relationship crumble, as he never bothered to stay at home long enough to please Scarlett. The actor is now on location of his latest film, '30 Days of Night' and allegedly he has made no effort whatsoever to reconcile with the upset starlet.

'They are on the rocks. Scarlett is always mad at him, and they are always arguing', a friend told the 'New York Post', stressing that the two are as good as split. However, Johansson herself doesn't think twice when it comes to choosing between her career and her boyfriend, if that's what she holds against Josh.

In a recent interview, the sexy actress said that she would always choose going to another country to shoot for a movie than stay at home with whomever she shares her life with. 'Life can get very complicated when you travel the world. I don't want my private life to determine whether I take a part and go far from home', Scarlett explained.
