Now, Scarlett Johansson is ready to agree to having a baby with Ryan Reynolds, just so that they can be together again, says a new report. The two actors had one of the most low-profile relationships and marriages in showbiz, which is perhaps why many assumed it would last for longer than a few years.
Since the divorce, neither Ryan nor Scarlett badmouthed each other in the press, choosing to keep their personal life private as they always have.
Scarlett recently came out of a relationship with much older actor Sean Penn – and seeing Ryan Reynolds walk the red carpet with Sandra Bullock the other day made her realize that she still
wanted to be with him, Us Weekly says, as cited by
Hollywood Life.
In what could be a classic case of “the grass is always greener on the other side,” Scarlett reportedly decided to do her best to win Ryan back, even if that means having a child and putting her career on hold for a few years.
“Ryan Reynolds‘ flirty behavior with Sandra Bullock at the premiere of The Change-Up must have caught the attention of ex-wife Scarlett Johansson, because Us Weekly is reporting that she’s determined to win him back!” Hollywood Life writes.
Sources close to the stunner tell Us Weekly that she’s been desperate get back in touch with her ex, to see if they still have a chance to be together.
“She has been calling him incessantly trying to see him, trying to meet up with him or see how he is,” says an unnamed spy.
Scarlett even got Ryan to go out on a few unofficial dates with her. They managed to go through the breakup and divorce while remaining friends, so she plans to use that to win a place in his heart again.
It might take a while, though.
“Even though a friend close to Ryan and Scarlett says that ‘he still loves her,’ he’s keeping her at arm’s length because ‘he does not want to get played again… He feels she just quit on him’,” the aforementioned e-zine writes.
“She’s doing everything possible to get him to take her back. Even saying she’s ready to have a baby,” the insider dishes.
