The 'Lost in Translation' star has recently confessed that, when she's feeling lost in sadness, she uses a trick that proved very efficient so far.
"If I am feeling glum... I like to apply red lipstick; then, for the whole day I feel better," she revealed.
Scarlett had a good reason to finish all her red lipstick recently. While working on her new film, The Black Dahlia, she allegedly became insecure after she found out she won't be the only one blond on the set. Her co-star, British born brunette Jemima Rooper, wore a blond wig for the shooting.
"I heard Scarlett was very distressed when she saw my blond wig," Rooper disclosed.
Some voices say these declarations were only a way for relative-unknown Jemima to build-up her profile, because, otherwise, Scarlett is very relaxed about her appearance. She is proud of her voluptuous curves and has recently advised starlets heading for Hollywood to eat properly, as the pressure to be thin can cause irreparable damage.
"Los Angeles is a very hard place to be unless you have people here that love you.
It can be very, very lonely and it can eat you up if you don't take care of yourself," Johansson declared.
