14 DAY TRIAL // First it was the pregnancy bomb and now this: actress Scarlett Johansson, the ideal woman for many men around the world, is planning to tie the knot and get off the market in just a few weeks’ time. That is, if were to believe a report that's been published by Page Six.
At the moment, the actress is engaged to a French journalist by the name of Romain Dauriac, but since she's announced her pregnancy a few months ago in March, there hasn't been any sign that she was planning to wear white anytime soon.
Scarlett and Dauriac have been engaged since September of last year and it looks as though, with all the celebrity weddings going on at the moment, they are planning to join the ranks of married people. The rumor that Johansson and her French lover are planning a wedding comes as the actress attended an elegant dinner party in the Hamptons thrown by Martha Stewart.
During the said party, people present at the event claim they overheard Scarlett mentioning that she was set to get married in four weeks, which would mean that she's set to marry this August. Don't get too excited though.
As opposed to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who went out of their way to try and impress the world with their wedding ceremony, Scarlett Johansson is rumored to be getting ready for a ceremony that is going to be both private and low key.
At the moment, the speculations are that the procession is either going to take place in Dauriac's native Paris or in some posh home in the Hamptons where the couple has been spending their summer days.
It should be mentioned that Scarlett's upcoming movie “Lucy” is due to be released in cinemas this week, so she is going to be tied up with promotional duties right up to the wedding, which doesn't leave her all that much time for planning a ceremony.
Not to mention the obvious, but it looks like Scarlett is going to be a pregnant bride at her wedding, since she is at the moment well into her pregnancy and that baby bump is still growing as the days roll by. The “Avengers” actress is going to have to pick up her wedding gown from the maternity department if the rumor is true, but she doesn't seem to be bothered by the issue at this point.
