From now on, when you think athletic, you must think 21-year-old Scarlett Johansson. The actress just became Reebok's latest acquisition (or, was it viceversa?) and, come next spring, her sporty clothes and shoes will be available in all stores.
The Scarlett 'Hearts' Rbk line will feature 'head-to-toe looks designed to take today's multi-dimensional woman from the studio to the street in style', according to the contracting Reebok executives.
The choice for the new designer and model was rather simple for the company CEO, given that he considers her 'a world-renowned style icon and truly an inspiration for today's young women'.
'Scarlett embodies the pulse points of our brand - individuality, authenticity and a life lived to the fullest in perpetual motion. These characteristics make her the perfect fit for our new women's footwear and apparel collection and also for our exciting new women's campaign', the Reebok CEO explained.
On the other side, Scarlett claims that the offer came completely out of the blue, taking her by surprise. But she is more than happy to be a part of the project. 'I am very enthusiastic about working with Reebok to design this line. I bet my new line will be so cute, so place your orders now', she said in a press statement.
