Actress Scarlett Johansson recently denied rumors about her and Benicio Del Toro having sex in the elevator of Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel. Johansson declared that even if she wanted to have sex with Benicio, she couldn't have done it, because the hotel's elevators were too small.

She explained: "If you've ever been in a Chateau Marmont elevator, you'll know. You can barely stand, let alone do anything like that.

I'm not one for sex in public places - save it for the bedroom!"

Scarlett, who is dating actor Josh Hartnettfor, fears this rumor will follow her for the rest of her life.

She told Britain's Marie Claire magazine: "I never had sex with Bencio Del Toro in an elevator. But I'll be answering that question for the rest of my life.

"It was a sarcastic quote that I unfortunately gave to a journalist. I said, 'Apparently, Benicio Del Toro and I had sex in an elevator.' He printed it, then all the tabloids took out the word 'apparently'."
