These “snow bunnies” are members of green group PETA

By now, people are pretty much familiar with PETA's habit of crashing all sorts of events hoping to get its message across.

Consequently, it should not come as a big surprise that the organization also saw fit to make an appearance in Sochi, Russia just in time for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

This time, PETA had two of its members dress up like “snow bunnies,” and walk around holding signs saying that people have no business wearing fur.

Unfortunately, the two “snow bunnies,” a picture of whom is available above, eventually had both their signs and their passports confiscated by local police officers.

Besides, they were asked to leave the Olympic Park area, PETA explains on its website.

Still, they are quite pleased with themselves and proud that, be it only for a while, they managed to get some people to focus less on the Winter Olympics and more on the cruelty of the fur industry.
