An adult tape featuring Taylor Swift and her former boyfriend Harry Styles has been leaked online after someone hacked into the celebrity’s iPhone. In reality, this isn’t true, but scammers are using the bogus story to trick Facebook users into taking part in a survey.

The Facebook posts, entitled “Taylor Swift's iPhone Hacked – [Adult] Tape LEAKED!” read something like this:

“The famous singer Taylor Swift had her iPhone hacked Monday and a [adult] tape between her and former boyfriend Harry Styles has been leaked on the internet. Taylor's publicists are trying to take down all of the websites hosting it, but we found a working one! Watch the video before it's taken down! CLICK HERE ---------> [Link]”

Hoax Slayer informs that users who click on the link are taken to a malicious site where they’re asked to complete a “30 second offer” in order to verify their age.

It doesn’t matter how many surveys the victims complete, they don’t get to see any raunchy videos. The crooks, on the other hand, have several ways of monetizing the scheme.

If you’re a victim of this scam, be sure to take appropriate action, depending on what information you’ve provided during the survey.
