Not very well received by critics but reaching $250m worldwide, the second Saw movie was poor in imagination and acting but gave many people the creeps.
Lionsgate Films decide to re-assign the sequel to a new team: director Darren Lynn Bousman (who helmed Saw2) and writers Leigh Whannell and James Wan (who wrote the first saw movies).
Lionsgate's Peter Block declared: "We are proud to be partnered with some of the most disturbing creative talents on the planet."
Anyhow, with all the secrecy paranoia it's not hard to guess that the movie will be about some people trapped somewhere who have to mutilate themselves or each other in order to satisfy some futile and not very credible sadistic pleasures of the new jigsaw killer.
Horror movie fans and experts would have rather a brand new team spice up the Saw concept but it is hard to please everybody and why bother go for quality when audiences were thrilled by the mediocre first two parts?
