As soon as May starts, so will do the shooting of the third (and let's hope last) installment of the jigsaw puzzle sadistic murderer. Yes, there will be more blood and more nonsense coming to you from director Darren Bousman. Saw 3 was something that really didn't seem at all necesary or relevant for the "horror" genre, but, as the producers have greenlighted it, let's hear what they have to say about the "plot".
Joblo.com published this story and by the way it sounds to anyone who saw the first two Saw movies it seems very likely to be the actual script:
"Two of our new victims are Lynn and Jeff one of whom runs quickly afoul of Jigsaw. Lynn is a married mother in her late 30s who is kidnapped by Jigsaw. As you might expect all is not sunny on Lynn's front, as she's got some dark secrets she's keeping from her family.
Then there's Jeff, a dad who has never recovered fully after his son died. It was an accident but he's never been able to forgive himself. How he fits into the Saw legacy is being kept a mystery."
The Saw movies, despite being utterly mediocre have gained a huge fan base, so the producers have to make the best of it and come up with a third part, before the audiences loose interest.
It is intended that main characters are played by well-known actors, but no names have been made public yet.
