Webster's New World family of reference books has been around for almost half a century now, permanently updating its products in order to meet the ever charging market demands. And this trend is quite clear from the company's latest announcement, as the imprint of John Wiley & Sons Inc. has partnered with Centon Electronics to deliver one of the most authoritative and respected
dictionaries included on a USB drive.

Thus, the Webster's New World College Dictionary comes pre-installed on the Centon 2GB and 4GB USB drive and is designed to install to the hard drive of a Windows compatible PC. In this way, students, working professionals and just about anyone that needs a practical, easy-to-use dictionary will find the 160,000 plus entries of the Webster's New World College Dictionary, a welcome "step up" from internet based dictionaries. The dictionary also includes a sophisticated word search, instant word help and a bonus misspeller's dictionary.

"Partnering with John Wiley & Sons Inc., allows Centon to combine a high-end dictionary with our USB flash products. This bundle shows that flash memory can deliver both storage and practical content. The Webster's New World product offering is a key element in Centon's long-term content strategy." said Stuart Atkins, Product Manager at Centon Electronics.

"Webster's New World Dictionaries and Wiley are very pleased that the content of the Webster's New World College Dictionary will be offered to Centon customers," said Michael Agnes, editor in chief of the dictionary. "This is a genuine partnership -- one that reaps benefits for both companies as well as for the consumer."

The 4 GB version will retail for around 65 US dollars, while the 2 GB version will come at 43 US dollars, which are some pretty reasonable prices to pay for these things, especially if we take into consideration the fact that they come packed with Webster's advanced dictionary software.
