A Saudi native married to one of the members of the ruling family in Saudi Arabia has been released from jail after being accused of enslaving her maid.

As I reported, Meshael Alayban, the wife of Saudi Arabian Prince Abdulrahman bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz al Saud has been charged with human trafficking.

A Kenyan worker in her home has escaped and told police that her passport had been taken away and she was being kept there against her will.

"The victim is obviously happy to be free, she is happy to be out of that environment. [...] I think she is a little bit overwhelmed at this point," Irvine Attorney Steve Baric describes.

The Orange County District Attorney tells ABC News that Alayban has posted $5M (€3.8M) bail and she is now forbidden from leaving California. She also has to wear a GPS monitoring device at all times.
