The Syrian Electronic Army – the notorious hacker group that supports the Syrian government – is back with another major hack. Their latest targets are several Saudi Arabian government websites, among which the one of the Ministry of Defense.

The list of affected websites includes the one of the Ministry of Defense, and other related sites such as the ones of the Armed Forces, the General Directorate of Military Works, the General Directorate of Military Survey, and safous.gov.sa.

According to Hilf-ol-Fozoul, other high-profile sites – such as the one of the Military Industries Corporation, and the one of an education institution – have also been breached and defaced.

At the time of writing, most of the websites appeared to have been taken offline.
