Satyam and Microsoft's EDGE Program

Satyam and Microsoft announce EDGE, an industry enterprise readiness initiative, which plans on training and certifying Satyam's engineering work force on Microsoft technologies. It plans training up to 3,000 Microsoft Certified Professionals each year on Microsoft .NET technology for enterprise solutions.

Satyam Computer Services Ltd. is a leading global
consulting and IT services company, offering a wide array of solutions customized for a range of key verticals and horizontals. It's made its presence felt in 53 countries and has alliances with over 50 business and technology leaders. From strategy consulting right through to implementing IT solutions for customers, Satyam straddles the entire IT space.

Eric Rudder, Senior VP - technical strategy at Microsoft said, "Satyam's true potential as an enterprise solutions integrator can be unleashed with a highly productive .NET-trained and certified work force. Together, we will be able to deliver immense benefits to our shared customers worldwide."

"We are glad that we could work closely with Microsoft on this alliance and look forward to working toward creating a global level of training and readiness on the platform and thus create the value 'edge' for our customers," said Ram Mynampati, President of Satyam.

The program also plans on integrating with Microsoft and Satyam alliance assets.
