Travel much? Bored of seeing the same wallpaper load up on your Mac time and time again? Developer Tom Taylor has the solution. Dynamically-changing wallpapers based on your current location, featuring satellite views.

Satellite Eyes is a simple Mac app created by Taylor with one purpose - to keep your desktop from ever getting boring. It automatically changes your desktop wallpaper to the satellite view of where you are, in real time. An example can be seen above.

“The app sits quietly in the menu bar at the top of your screen. Pull your laptop out somewhere new, and your desktop will automatically change to the view from overhead,” says Tom.

The app comes with different map styles, ranging from aerial photography to abstract watercolors, and it will even take advantage of multiple monitors spanning images across them. It’s free and you can grab it right now at the link below.
