When thinking of a remote control, one usually assumes the product will relay commands to a TV or VCR, or some other such thing.

The new remote control from Satechi is a bit better though, in that it controls iPads, iPhones, Macs, Android devices and even PCs.

Smart TVs should support it too, if their OS has what it takes to interpret Bluetooth signals.

The range of the small Bluetooth 3.0 handheld device is 33 feet, which is the same as ten meters. There are buttons for mute, track back/forward, play/pause, Siri activation and even one for the camera shutter.

The back/forward buttons can be used just as easily for presentations, to move between slides. It really all boils down to owner inventiveness in the end.

Orders can already be placed for $39.99 / 31.84 Euro.
