The carrier did not plan to offer the smartphone originally

Although HTC One has been delayed numerous times in various countries, the Taiwanese handset maker is trying to honor all agreements signed with multiple carriers.

The smartphone was launched at various mobile operators as scheduled, but the unlocked version is still hard to come by.

Anyway, MobileSyrup reports that another Canadian carrier has just confirmed that it will offer the HTC One. SaskTel has announced recently that although it did not intend to carry the HTC One, it has changed its mind and will now start selling the smartphone soon.

There are no details on the phone’s pricing options and availability, but we can expect SaskTel to offer the HTC One for similar prices as other Canadian carriers.

For the time being, Rogers is the only mobile operator in the country that has announced a $150/€115 3-year term price, but other carriers should make their announcements soon.
