14 DAY TRIAL // In recently unveiled photos, former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin seemed to rock a more ample cleavage, which instantly prompted talk of whether she’d gotten a helping hand from some of the ladies’ newest best friend, the plastic surgeon. After keeping mum on the topic for a while, Mrs. Palin has broken her silence over the weekend, as Us Magazine can confirm: and she’s adamant she hasn’t had any work done.
Buzz first started on Twitter that Palin was looking more shapely in the chest area and, from thereon, the rumor slowly took over the Internet. Though a more generous cleavage can certainly be attained through other, non-surgical procedures, many believed Palin’s seemingly larger cup was clearly the result of the work of a surgeon. Far from that, the former Gov. revealed over the weekend, as the aforementioned publication reports.
Not only has Sarah Palin not gotten any work done on her chest, but she’s also disappointed she has to come up with explanations of the kind for the media, she says. It’s very unfortunate that she’s literally put in a position where she has to detail what would otherwise be a personal matter, and that the media is choosing this precisely to focus on. Still, if an explanation must be provided, she’s more than happy to put rumors to rest: she did not get and does not plan on getting implants.
“No, I have not had implants. A report like that is about as real and truthful as reports that [my husband] Todd and I are divorcing or that I bought a place in the Hamptons or that [my son] Trigg is not my own child. To be judged on or to be talked about on appearance – say chest size – it makes me wear layers, it makes me have to waste time figuring out what am I going to wear so that nobody will look at an area that I don’t need them to look at,” Mrs. Palin says.
Instead of paying this much attention to her and whatever changes may or may not take place in her body, the media would be better off if it focuses someplace else. “I want them to hear what it is that I’m saying. It just ends up wasting time and that’s very, very unfortunate. I think some of those folks, too, they need to perhaps grab a shovel, go down to the Gulf, volunteer to help, clean up and save a whale or something,” Mrs. Palin adds.
