As we also informed you the other day, Sarah Michelle Gellar is featured in the latest issue of Self magazine where she talks, among other things, how her priorities have changed since giving birth. She also reveals that she never weighs herself.

The actress, who is now making a comeback to television in “Ringer,” tells the magazine she's no longer putting as much pressure on herself to look good as she once did.

She's not out of shape and she's definitely not fat, but she's not in the excellent condition she was before she became pregnant either.

Now that she's a mom, her priorities have changed considerably, the star tells the mag. For one, she doesn't really care today if people comment on her weight gain.

In fact, she doesn't even have a scales around the house anymore.

“You can't live your life by the scale. We don't even have one in our house. I've never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates. It's more about how my clothing fits than a number,” Sarah says for the publication.

Obsessing over one's weight can only mean one thing: not being able to enjoy the most important things in life.

“Besides, if you deny yourself everything because you're so focused on the mirror or the scale, then when do you get to enjoy life?” the actress asks.

Another thing that's changed about her since giving birth is how she takes criticism of her figure. Today, she knows there's no winning with the tabloids, so she simply stopped caring.

“If you wear one bulky sweater, you're pregnant or you're fat. When you're 5-foot-4 like me, any weight gain can look like a lot,” Gellar explains.

“People dissect you for 2 pounds. That can be incredibly difficult, but I don't take it as personally anymore,” she further says.

“I care only that I'm healthy. Besides, I'm not an actor who is known for her body necessarily. I hope I have a few other things going for me!” she adds.
