Sarah Jessica Parker Stunning in Berlin

- The actress and her cast mates wowed the crowds as they hit the pink carpet in Berlin

By: Monica Gaza, Life & Style Editor

Sarah Jessica Parker has been in the news a lot lately, and she probably doesn't mind being so closely pursued by fashion photographers documenting her latest couture gown and by swooning fans alike. It
also looks like she took a cue from the not-so-favorable press she received for her choice of outfit at the London premiere of SATC, because when the four leading ladies and proud New Yorkers (Parker among them) hit the red carpet in Berlin, she was the epitome of classic grace and style.

The carpet was pink and the atmosphere was just as bubbly and exhilarating as it was in London when Sarah Jessica Parker and her cast mates Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall hit Potsdamer Platz in Berlin yesterday evening. Parker mercifully gave up the bizarre-looking sculpted hat she had worn in London a few days before and opted for a sleek, shiny 'do with a side parting, asymmetrically cropped at the back. She wore a figure-hugging nude-colored strapless gown with subtle ribbon detail at the top, accessorized with matching shoes and minimalist jewelry. She definitely looked more "Sarah" than "Carrie", and it was good to see her own individuality shining through once in a while, not completely swamped by her quirky alter-ego.

Parker's co-stars stayed in character and their choices reflected a lot of the personalities and style of their movie characters. Cynthia Nixon wore a flowing black v-neck gown, slightly less revealing than the Versace number she donned in London. Kristin Davis opted for a deep green dress with a full knee-length skirt in a style reminiscent of the 40s, and Kim Cattrall wore a brightly colored orange dress that looked put together from various asymmetrical pieces of cloth. The pink carpet ceremony lasted over an hour – and the ladies had plenty of time to show off their outfits and pose for the fans.
