14 DAY TRIAL // Even though both “SATC” movies are said to have ruined the franchise started by the hit HBO series about a group of girls enjoying life, love, and each other’s company, Sarah Jessica Parker wouldn’t say no to a third installment.
The second movie in particular, which came out in 2010, was trashed by critics and fans alike but, if you think that this might be enough to make those rumors about a third simply go away, you’re wrong.
Not only are they still there, but SJP is feeding them fuel in her latest interview with InStyle magazine. “A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell. But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!,” the actress says of reprising her famous Carrie Bradshaw character.
As luck would have it, Kristin Davis has also hinted in some of her more recent interviews that she’d be open to the idea of another movie if the script was right and everyone else was also on board.
Cynthia Nixon and Kim Catrall, though, don’t want back, no matter how much money is being thrown at them, it is being said. However, assuming they too agree to be part of the film, chances are a third installment would be made.
