Divorce, other rumors now say, is the only option left for the couple – yet Parker dreads it, as it could leave her without a considerable share of the huge fortune she has made with her acting career.
Sources speaking with Look magazine, and who claim to have the best inside knowledge, say that Sarah Jessica Parker is absolutely terrified by the idea of divorce, since it would mean she would lose part of her considerable estate over to Matthew. At the same time, spies are saying, she is more than aware that it’s the only way to go to put an end to a marriage that practically ended a couple of months ago, when they decided to lead separate lives.
“Sarah’s family were poor when she was a child. She had seven brothers and sisters and she’s often talked about missing out on birthday presents when she was young. It seems she’s freaking out over the thought that Matthew could walk away with an enormous sum of money.” the insiders tell Look.
Word in the industry has it that Sarah’s fortune is now estimated at way over $150 million, part of which Matthew would also get in case of a divorce. Admittedly, from what the spies are pointing out, the two celebrities did not sign a prenuptial contract before saying their “I Do’s.”
Nevertheless, it is being underlined, divorce is the only option, especially in the context in which Matthew reportedly cheated on Sarah with a 25-year-old woman. Matthew and Sarah made a truce to still feign to be a family over the holidays, “pretending to be happy for [son] James,” as the sources maintain, but this only came to make the cracks in their relationship be all that more obvious.
So far, a representative for Sarah Jessica Parker has refused to comment on the latest rumors.
