Sapphire’s motherboards never impressed us with anything but their traditional white PCB color. Now that these aren’t white anymore, we’re forced to analyze the rest of the board to see something interesting.

The Sapphire Pure Platinum A85XT Socket FM2 motherboard was reportedly pictured at this year’s Computex show and it brings two PCI-Express slots x16 that can form a x8 by x8 configuration when both are populated.

The FM2 socket is powered by a decent 8-phase VRM and there are four DDR3 DIMM slots next to it.

On the rest of the motherboard we can find two PCI 32-bit legacy expansion slots, one PCI-Express x4 slot and two PCIe x1 and a mPCIe slot very ill-positioned.

There are also seven SATA III connectors along with an mSATA port and the Sapphire Pure Platinum A85XT Socket FM2 is also reportedly coming with Bluetooth.

We can only see solid capacitors on the rest of the board and we can only be happy about that.

The I/O panel brings DVI, VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort along with Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and 8-channel HD audio.

Seems like an unfinished product to me. They don't have the same logo as that of A75 which can be seen from the pic.
