The signature robotic rendition makes its appearance on the rad label once more

Sapphire has a pretty odd marketing strategy, one that involves red background and robotic things on the labels despite the fact that its name is that of a blue gem.

Nonetheless, that is Sapphire's way, a way it followed closely when it released the Radeon R9 295 X2 graphics card.

The dual-GPU graphics card from Advanced Micro Devices came out the other day, so of course AMD's partners would follow.

Sapphire didn't really change anything about the adapter. It left the GPUs at 1018 MHz and the 8 GB of GDDR5 VRAM at 5 GHz.

Each GPU has an interface of 512, which they use to communicate with 4 GB of memory.

As you may have come to expect, the product ships in the now iconic briefcase, or suitcase depending on your opinion. I suppose the case is pretty thick.

The price of the Sapphire Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card should be of around $1,499 / €1,499. Hopefully, it won't climb like the tags of all the other high-end AMD boards. Then again, Bitcoin miners seeking cards capable of serious number crunching aren't getting any fewer, and they're the ones that have caused that phenomenon in the first place.
