14 DAY TRIAL // Announced by Boost Mobile, Sanyo Innuendo is the rightful successor of the popular Sanyo Incognito, one of the best selling handsets from Boost Mobile on Sprint's CDMA network.
Manufactured by Kyocera, the Innuendo is now available for purchase at Boost Mobile’s exclusive retail stores, select independent wireless dealer locations across the country and online, for $129.99 (excluding taxes).
However, it seems that Sanyo Innuendo will be soon be available in major retail outlets across the country.
Sanyo Innuendo is a QWERTY fold phone that features an elegant, high-gloss black and silver finish.
It comes with an innovative external glow-thru dial pad and sub-display outside and a 2.8-inch WQVGA internal display.
According to the manufacturer, the Innuendo uses a fully customizable “application carousel” user interface to navigate the phone’s many features.
“The launch of the Sanyo Innuendo illustrates Boost’s commitment to provide our customers the phones they want at a reasonable price, along with Boost’s award-winning, no-contract service,” said Andre Smith, vice president-Boost Mobile.
“When paired with Boost’s $50 Monthly Unlimited plan, smart shoppers can cut their monthly phone bill in half compared to similar offers from T-Mobile that required a two-year contract,” added Smith.
Sanyo Innuendo has two different keypads, an external touch-sensitive one and an internal full QWERTY keyboard.
The phone sports an average 3.2-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities and an integrated GPS receiver.
The Innuendo allows user to quickly access email from Gmail, MSN, Yahoo! AOL and fully supports instant messaging (Yahoo!, AIM, Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger).
Other highlights of the Sanyo Innuendo include: Stereo Bluetooth technology, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and speakerphone.
The Sanyo Innuendo is available on Boost Mobile’s $50 Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage plan, which slashes users' bills considerably the longer they pay for it.
