Sanyo DMP-M400SD Diply Music Player

Sanyo has just launched a new, full-featured MP3 player - the DMP-M400SD aka Diply Music Player, a device which does not sport any kind of memory capacity, being able to play in exchange directly from a SD memory card, as the user is also able to transfer tracks from the computer via an easy USB connection.

The Diply Music Player weighs 29 grams and comes in a little stylish design showcase of 69 x 55 x 15mm.

On the other hand, just last week, Sanyo has announced it will soon launch a comprehensive business expansion strategy aimed at providing one of the most enhanced photovoltaic solutions on the market by adding a new type HIT solar cell that uses multi-crystal silicon-based wafers in order to improve its portfolio and fulfill the customers' requirements. The manufacturer announced that it will also launch multi-crystal silicon based photovoltaic modules cells, which have 15%-16% cell conversion efficiency.
"Along with increased production capacity, Sanyo will strengthen photovoltaic products and further increase product differentiation by raising its world's highest HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin-layer - e.n.) solar cell conversion efficiency. Sanyo plans to increase solar cell conversion efficiency above 22%. Sanyo will make thinner wafers to deal with the silicon material problem and at the same time increase solar cell conversion efficiency. In normal conditions making thinner multi-crystal silicon solar cells decreases efficiency but Sanyo plans by FY 2010, to have wafers thinner than 150 micrometers and cell conversion efficiency higher than 22%, thus further differentiating Sanyo products," said the company.

In addition, Sanyo will create an alliance to expand procurement of silicon material which will clear many of the business' expansion bottlenecks, as the company also intends to further differentiate HIT products and strengthen the business foundation.
